Joel Cote was a fabulous DJ for my parent's 50th surprise birthday party. He took requests, assisted with the planning and really got the party going! The guests really enjoyed his entertainment. We had Joel for my grandmother's very lively 80th birthday party and the whole family had a lot of fun. We had a tent in our backyard with linen tablecloths on every table and beautiful floral centerpieces. We rented a wooden dance floor for the middle under the tent. We had approximately 80 to 100 guests. Locomotion DJ Productions are very professional. They play great dance music and really keep the party going. Joel was a fantastic DJ at our wedding. He was personable, professional and kept the party going by noticing the guests responses to the music. We had him DJ from the beginning of the ceremony until the last song was played and I was so happy and relieved when during the ceremony when he played some not-so-known songs that I had requested. Joel did an excellent job for our wedding. He was able to read the people and get a good feel for what music was most appropriate. People were dancing and having a great time. We wanted someone who was slightly reserved, played good music and spoke up when appropriate. Joel was that person on that day. I'm sure he can be a different entertainer for other weddings. I just wanted to say thanks so much for your excellent and VERY professional service!!! Joel was great and several people commented on him! Unfortunately not as many people showed up as we had originally thought and lots of people left early. (its a bad time of year to plan things like this)But Joel was a trooper and had himself and a few kids out on the "dance floor" doing the marcarena and the limbo!!!Even though there were hardly any people left he kept on going!! He even offered to stay and play music while we cleaned up!! We will definitely be back for Joel next year so keep us on your calender. We are going to change the time of year to the fall. Picking a decent dj is a hard thing to do. You don't want someone who is overbearing, or someone who is too shy. Joel was perfect.
